Theses achievements, happening almost simultaneously, consolidate the enduring ten-year partnership between Carraro Agritalia and John Deere, one of the best known names in agricultural machinery.
In early November, the 25,000th John Deere tractor was built at the Rovigo plant. The U.S. company's top management were on hand to witness the event and to emphasize the strong business relationship, which started in the late 90s, between the two companies.
At the same time, the new hydraulic clutch “power reverser” transmission – extremely efficient and completely redesigned – was implemented on the JD 5000G series.
Last but not least, the EIMA tradeshow in Bologna – among the agricultural sector's main European events – was the occasion for the new John Deere 5100GF tractor to be selected as a finalist in the 2011 Tractor of the Year contest. Additional recognition of the excellence achieved and the technological level reached by the product range.
