The new supplier evaluation system is intended to be a guide in developing certain operational choices and a number of strategic guidelines.
More specifically, for the operational choices - with continual monitoring - a number of criteria are considered, namely: - observance of delivery dates and deadlines - the quality of the product (ppm) or the frequency of faults
At the same time, and as a consequence of these values, certain strategic decisions will be taken into consideration on the basis of objective values highlighted by the system itself; that is, the fundamental aspects of existing supply relationships will be analyzed assessing their correspondence to the output recorded.
The performance indicators will be fundamental in defining the strong and weak points of the partnership, and above all in highlighting any areas of improvement and in implementing - as a consequence - further operational activities.
Finally, thanks to the ASE system it will be possible to define the targets for each supplier in a more punctual and precise way and with a view to future development of the relationship.
